Pure Copper Woven Wire Mesh
Copper wire mesh is the most widely used copper alloy wire mesh in the industry, which is woven from 99.95% copper wire. The biggest benefit of copper wire mesh is its high electrical and thermal conductivity, which makes it widely used in many electrical applications, such as RFI shielding, Faraday cages, signal shielding, HVAC, etc.
As a professional manufacturer of copper wire mesh, we can meet your various customization needs. This includes wire diameter, mesh size, weaving method, filtration level, mesh count and width, etc., and we can provide them in the form of rolls or sliced into any shape and size.
Copper Analysis
Copper wire mesh is flexible, malleable and ductile. And has a natural metallic color, usually fuchsia or rose red. When exposed to the atmosphere for a long time, a slow oxidation reaction occurs to form a layer of copper oxide, and the surface color gradually changes to green/blue, which is called patina.
This oxide layer also can further enhance the corrosion resistance of copper wire mesh. And these characteristics make copper wire mesh very popular in the field of architectural applications.
Although its abrasion resistance, hardness, and tensile strength are not as good as bronze and brass alloys, its excellent corrosion resistance makes it durable in many environmental conditions. For example, in the atmosphere, seawater and some non-oxidizing acids (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid), alkalis, salt solutions and various organic acids (acetic acid, citric acid), etc.

Characteristics
The characteristics of copper wire mesh make it widely used.
- 99.95%+ Pure copper wire mesh.
- Ductility and softness and flexibility make copper wire mesh easy to process, connect and install.
- Has the thermal and electrical conductivity second only to silver mesh, but the cost is lower than silver.
- Durability and maintenance-free features make it the first choice for many mechanical and industrial applications.
- Excellent corrosion resistance, the oxide film further enhances this.
- Copper mesh has a melting point of 1083 ℃ (1981 ℉). It does not catch fire through floors, walls, or ceilings. It is more suitable for architectural applications in fire resistance.
- Recyclability. Like other metals, copper is 100% recyclable.
- The unique metallic color makes the copper wire mesh very suitable for use as decorative products in architectural applications.

Applications
The physical properties of copper wire mesh, such as mechanical, thermal and electrical conductivity, make it mainly used in electrical applications such as Faraday cages, RFI shielding, HVAC units. And its unique patina, corrosion resistance, durability and fire resistance make copper wire mesh a very popular choice for designers and architects.
Copper wire mesh is very common in commercial and residential projects, such as insect screen, fireplace screen, infill panel, decorative wall panel, and more. Some artists, sculptors, carpenters or metal artisans also like copper mesh very much, because it not only has a natural metallic color but also can be made into various complex shapes for decorative applications.
